Area founder has meeting with early stage venture firm, tells co-founders the meeting went "really well"

Mike Roma, the founder of chatbot startup NVRMESSAGEME, left his two hour meeting with a Menlo Park early stage venture firm brimming with hope and optimism. Mike stated "wow, I've never been in a room with so many highly engaged venture folks. They literally wouldn't stop asking me questions about my tech, our business model, and specifically how we managed to create real differentiation in the space." After speaking with us, Mr. Roma jumped on his phone and called his two nervous co-founders to report that the meeting went "really well" and that he should hear back about next steps "as soon as that afternoon."

When we reached out to the venture firm for a quote about the meeting, we were met with silence until one unnamed associate stated "oh yeah, now I remember, sure.
